When the holidays inspire you to create meals that you seldom take time to prepare at any other time of year, the Wolf steam oven offers fool-proof results for every selection. Perhaps you plan to invite guests for holiday brunch, Christmas dinner or a festive dessert party to ring in the New Year? The chefs at Clarke, New England’s Official Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove Showroom and Test Kitchen, have created five delightful ways to make the most of your Wolf Convection Steam Oven as you plan your holiday menus.
Simplify Your Elegant Holiday Breakfast
Imagine serving your family and holiday guests Eggs Benedict on Christmas morning. If you find poaching eggs to be tedious and the process sometimes takes some trial and error, your Wolf steam oven is the answer. This unique convection steam oven lets you poach your eggs without any of the challenges of boiling them in water. This delicious (and easy) recipe for Eggs Benedict takes only about 30 minutes and will create four delicious servings. As with many of the Clarke Chef recipes, you’ll also pick up valuable tips, like how to clarify butter.

This next delightful recipe can serve as either a sumptuous addition to your holiday breakfast or as a decadent late-night treat. Clarke’s Cinnamon Bread Pudding takes about an hour to prepare and bake and is an easy treat that will serve eight guests early in the morning or after dinner. Who doesn’t love the scent of cinnamon wafting through their holiday kitchen? For your Cinnamon Bread Pudding, you’ll use your Wolf Steam Oven’s Gourmet Mode on “One Dish Meals” and select “Lasagna.” Yep, you read that right! This will produce a delicious bread pudding that is ready to be topped with vanilla pudding and fresh berries or chocolate sauce and nuts or anything that strikes your fancy.

Ingredients for a Memorable, Yet Simple Holiday Dinner
Holiday dinners where we gather with our closest family and friends are special and with the help of your Wolf Steam Oven the food can be a memorable part of this experience. Clarke’s chefs describe their Braised Short Ribs as “a meal that feels like a warm hug in a bowl.” In a little less than three hours, your five pounds of bone-in short ribs will be moist and tender, ready to pair with creamy polenta, mashed potatoes and braised vegetables. The Gourmet Mode on your Wolf steam oven will guide you through Meat > Beef > Shoulder of Beef > the “More Gourmet” setting > Medium Browned and when you press “start” you’re about two hours from serving.

This is a delicious way to eat with health in mind and serve up something unique at your holiday table.
