In this Back Bay townhome, the client, a couple with three adult children, sought a primary city residence to contrast with their previous home in a Midwestern suburb, reflect their identity, and serve as a gathering space for the family to reconvene. Contemporary global glamour was an all-encompassing theme throughout the residence, marrying the clients’ international sensibility with a refined taste for quality craftsmanship and using contrast as a major theme in the design story.
