Garlic Butter Steak & Potatoes Skillet

Some nights call for something a little more satisfying — and this garlic butter steak and potatoes skillet delivers without requiring much from you. It's a step up from the usual weeknight rotation, and it's exactly the kind of dinner that makes everyone stop asking what's for dinner.

PREP TIME: 10 minutes
COOK TIME: 25 minutes
LEVEL: Intermediate
YIELD: 4

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cubed
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper

Method of Preparation

  1. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat on your Wolf cooktop(opens in new tab).
  2. Cook potatoes in olive oil until golden and tender.
  3. Remove potatoes and sear steak.
  4. Add butter and garlic.
  5. Return potatoes to the pan and toss together.
  6. Finish with parsley.

Chef Tip

Avoid overcrowding the skillet when searing the steak, so you achieve a true golden crust instead of steaming.
