When KR+H’s Paul Reidt first met with this Newton homeowner to discuss her project, he was introduced to the family’s dark and gloomy kitchen. The family wanted to use the eating area in the kitchen, yet nobody would ever go there. As well, the kitchen’s working parts were too far away from each other to be efficient – there was no focus to the preparation area.
