Peppermint Espresso Martini

This festive Peppermint Espresso Martini combines homemade peppermint-infused vodka with rich espresso for a bold, refreshing twist on a classic cocktail.

PREP TIME: 15 minutes (+ 1 hour to infuse vodka)

LEVEL: Easy
YIELD: 2

Ingredients

Peppermint-Infused Vodka

  • 1 cup high-quality vodka
  • 12 peppermint candies or 4 candy canes, crushed

Martini

  • 3 oz peppermint-infused vodka
  • 2 oz freshly brewed espresso (from Wolf Coffee System)
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
  • ½ oz simple syrup (or to taste)
  • Ice cubes

To Garnish:
Crushed peppermint rim · Chocolate shavings · Mint leaf (optional)

Method of Preparation

1 · Infuse the Vodka
Add vodka, crushed peppermint, and mint sprigs in a small heat-safe jar with the lid slightly loose. Place in the CSO on Sous Vide Mode at 140 °F for 1 hour. Remove and cool. Strain into a clean bottle; store chilled.

2 · Brew the Espresso
Use the Wolf Coffee System to brew a fresh espresso shot. Let cool slightly so it doesn’t melt the ice immediately.

3 · Shake
In a cocktail shaker, combine peppermint vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, simple syrup, and ice. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds until frosted.

4 · Serve
Strain into chilled martini glasses with a crushed peppermint rim. Top with chocolate shavings or a mint leaf. Serve immediately.
