Miso-Glazed Salmon with Coconut Rice & Snap Peas

Miso-glazed salmon sounds like a restaurant order — but with a Wolf Convection Steam Oven, it's a realistic weeknight dinner. It's the kind of meal that raises the bar for what a school-night dinner can be.

PREP TIME: 15 minutes
COOK TIME: 30 minutes
LEVEL: Intermediate
YIELD: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon white miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Scallions and sesame seeds for garnish

Method of Preparation

  1. In a baking dish, combine rice, coconut milk, and water.
  2. Steam at 210°F for 20 minutes in the Wolf Convection Steam Oven.
  3. Mix miso, honey, and soy sauce.
  4. Brush salmon with glaze.
  5. Add salmon and snap peas to the oven using Convection Steam at 375°F for 10–12 minutes.
  6. Finish with scallions and sesame seeds.

Chef Tip

The combination of steam and convection keeps the salmon incredibly moist while still allowing the glaze to caramelize beautifully.
