It may not have been Saturday Night, but at this year’s annual Clarke Distribution Designer Appreciation Night on April 4th, everyone was certainly Stayin’ Alive. Designers, architects, and other trade professionals went back in time for Disco Night at the Clarke showroom in Milford, Massachusetts. After donning their platforms and sequins, guests sipped Pop Rocks martinis and nibbled small plates from various blockbuster-themed dinner stations.

The food included mini lobster rolls with a side of New England clam chowder (Jaws), macaroni and cheese flavored with truffle oil or chicken confit (The Godfather), and Sam Adams or spinach-artichoke cheese fondue (Saturday Night Fever). Everyone’s favorite seemed to be the boneless braised shortribs (no wonder that was at the Love Story station!)

After a presentation of 2012’s design awards and small speeches by such Clarkies as Joe Tanguay, CEO Tom Clarke, and general manager Sean Clarke, Studio 54 was brought back to life once more. Everyone danced the night away amidst fog machines, a light-up rainbow dance floor, and a DJ playing disco classics.

This get-together is held every year to thank our local trade and designer community for their contributions to the industry.  At Clarke, New England’s official Sub Zero and Wolf showroom and test kitchen, we like to take this yearly opportunity to not only honor the highest-scoring members of our Designer Rewards program, but this time we also recognized the regional winners of the Sub-Zero and Wolf Kitchen Design Contest from New England.

Thanks to all of our designers and trade professionals who joined us for an evening of food, fun, and far-out funkiness. See you next year!
