On October 5th and 6th, the Boston Design Center will host Boston Design Market 2016. This two-day event is designed to allow architects, interior designers and their clients to immerse themselves in everything to do with residential design. Now just steps away at 7 Tide Street, Boston Seaport’s newest design destination, there’s even more reason to attend!
On Thursday, October 6th, Clarke will host “Doing it All,” a luncheon presentation with expert multi-taskers Erin Gates and Stacy Kunstel. Erin is the founder of Erin Gates Design and the creator of the popular blog Elements of Style and a best-selling book of the same name.
Stacy (seen here shopping for sunflowers) is the homes editor for New England Home, a regional editor for Meredith Corporation (think Better Homes & Gardens, Traditional Home and other great magazines) and the co-founder of Dunes & Duchess, a successful furniture and lighting company whose products are found in extraordinary boutiques throughout the country.
Both speakers are well-known for their boundless energy and vivacious spirit, leaving many to wonder how they “do it all.” These design industry stars will share their stories, as well as stress control tips and suggestions for keeping your life in proper balance while juggling multiple projects and roles.
Guests (both designers and their clients) can enjoy events at the Design Center, then take a quick five-minute walk over to 7 Tide for the presentation and lunch. The event will begin at 11:45 and the presentation will kick-off at 12:15 sharp in order to get everyone back to events at the Design Center that afternoon.
Visitors will enjoy not only the presentation by Stacy and Erin (pictured right) and a delicious lunch by Clarke’s Chef Brittany Wezner, but also the opportunity to see why everyone is talking about this singular new design destination.
7 Tide is the location of Clarke’s new Sub-Zero & Wolf Showroom and Test Kitchen and the country’s first brand experience center for Marvin Windows and Doors.
During a recent press tour of these spaces, one editor commented, “We see a lot of showrooms, but this is like nothing in Boston. So inspirational! Visitors will think about appliances, windows and doors in a whole new way after visitng here!”
Come see for yourself! There is no charge for this exciting event, but an RSVP is required as space is limited.
