There’s nothing better than getting the whole family together to have some fun in the kitchen. These recipes will have your kids excited to get cooking and are easy for everybody!
Puff Pastry Pizza
This is a great recipe for the whole family, especially any picky kids. They love making their own customized pizzas! For a dessert option, you can add apples or berries with cinnamon, sugar and some icing. Yum!
Prep Time: 10 mins
Level: Easy
Cook Time: 15 mins
Yields: 2
Ingredients:
- 1 defrosted package of puff pastry
- ¾ cup of pizza sauce
- 1 8oz package of low moisture mozzarella
- Toppings as desired such as Pepperoni, Broccoli, Peppers, Onions, etc.
Directions:
Turn your Wolf M or E series oven to 425F Convection. Place puff pastry on a sprayed sheet tray and with a fork poke puff pastry everywhere except for a one inch border around the edge. Make sure to poke plenty of holes. This prevents this part of the pizza from rising too much and the border will create your crust! Next, add sauce and toppings as desired. You can really have fun and customize to your liking! Place in oven and cook for 10-15 depending on your liking. Let cool and slice.
Frozen Chocolate Bananas
This recipe is a great snack and satisfies that sweet tooth! It’s also a great alternative to those Popsicle sticks from the frozen section at the store. Not a fan of bananas? You can use any fruit you like. And with Wolf’s true simmer feature, there’s no need for that double broiler!
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 15 mins
Yields: 10 servings
Level: Easy
Ingredients:
- 1 package of chocolate melting chips
- 5 bananas cut in half
- 10 skewers
Directions:
Place chocolate in a small pot and using Wolf’s true simmer on your cooktop or range melt chocolate. Skewer each banana and dip in chocolate. Place on a non-stick silicone baking mat (we recommend Silpat) or parchment paper sprayed with nonstick spray. Freeze in your Sub-Zero Freezer until fully frozen — about 3 hours. Once frozen you can place in a plastic food storage bag.
Grilled Fruit with Lime Yogurt Sauce
Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Level: Easy
Ingredients:
Fruit Skewers
- Any firm fruit cut into 1 ½ inch chuncks such as pineapple, melon, cantaloupe, watermelon or any stone fruits.
- Skewers as needed
Sauce
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt
- 1 lime zest and juice
- 1 tbs honey
Place skewers in hot water and soak for at least two hours, preferably overnight. Preheat your Wolf Charbroiler or Wolf Outdoor Grill for at least 15 mins. While your Charbroiler or Grill is preheating, skewer your fruit. Once done skewing fruit, grill skewers until slightly charded. It’s important to note you are not looking to cook the fruit, but just get the grill flavor and caramelization. Place on large tray with sauce and enjoy!
