The next generation Wolf Dual Fuel Range retains its original iconic red knobs and gleaming stainless steel commercial look, which has many asking, “What’s so new?” The answer is, “Almost everything.” In 2002, Wolf produced its first dual fuel range offering a gas rangetop and electric oven, the best of both worlds according to many chefs. In 2021, Wolf has updated their line of dual fuel ranges to incorporate the features that have become synonymous with their industry-leading wall ovens and the early reviews are spectacular.
Wolf Dual Fuel Rangetop Tweaks
Wolf’s new dual fuel ranges (which still come in 30”, 36”, 48” and 60” widths and various configurations) still feature their dual-stacked, sealed burners that provide precise high-to-low temperature, offering a great sear and also a gentle melt. However there are a few changes:
- Wolf has added an 8-burner configuration, for those who want an all-burner rangetop.
- Now featuring a high and low setting, the adjustable 16K BTU infrared charbroiler aptly handles a wider range of foods than ever (steaks, chops, as well as delicate fish and vegetables).
- The consistent profile on the burners, griddle, charbroiler and French top allow you to more easily slide pots across all cooking surfaces.
- New pro style handles coordinate with a full suite of Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove appliances.
New Wolf Dual Fuel Controls
Ten cooking modes developed by Wolf chefs maximize the performance of your oven and create precisely the right cooking environment, not matter the dish. Modes include Bake, Broil, Convection, Convection Roast, Dehydrate, Gourmet, Proof, Roast, Stone and Warm.
The iconic red knobs have been updated on the Wolf Dual Fuel Range with LED backlit control knobs that illuminate when in use, indicating which burners are active. In addition, the timers and clock have been replaced with full-color touch screen controls that are intuitive and easy to rea. When not in use, the panel discreetly hides away and preserves the refined aesthetic of the Wolf range.
The Oven Upgrade is the Real Star in the New Wolf Dual Fuel Range
Since 2002, Wolf has developed the industry’s finest wall oven technologies and now Dual Fuel Range owners can benefit from that extraordinary knowledge. The oven in Wolf’s new Dual Fuel Range now utilizes Wolf’s Dual Verticross™ convection system, which provides reliably even heat, reduces hot and cold spots and enables consistent multi-rack cooking.
The other spectacular upgrade is the addition of Wolf’s Gourmet Mode, which features nearly 50 presets that automatically control the oven to ensure predictably delicious results with every dish. These programmed recipes communicate exact temperature, rack position and timing to take the guess work out of cooking.
