Looking for a savory spooky recipe to celebrate Halloween? Look no further! Ghoul’s Baked Brie is a simple recipe that is ideal for including children in the preparation. When you cut into this spooky brie, a flow of delicious red jam and creamy brie oozes out proving that spooky can taste good!

Cook Time: 25 Minutes
Level: Easy
Yield: 4-6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 8oz wheel of brie
- ¼ cup, plus 1 ½ tablespoons of sour cherry jam, or seedless raspberry jam
- 1 puff pastry sheet thawed
- 1 egg
- 4 drops of green food dye
Instructions:
- Preheat Wolf’s E or M series oven or Dual Fuel Range oven to Bake 375F
- Remove brie from package and cut it in half horizontally
- Place ¼ cup of jam on top of one of the slices of brie with the cut side up
- Place the other half of brie cut side down on top of jam topped brie, making a “brie and jam sandwich”
- Place the “sandwiched brie” in center of puff pastry sheet
- Whisk egg and dye together to create an egg wash
- Egg wash the perimeter of the puff pastry
- Fold all the edges of the puff pastry to the center of the brie, encasing the brie in puff pastry
- Place encased puff pastry onto a non-stick parchment lined baking sheet, seam side down
- Using a paring knife cut out eyes and mouth creating a spooky ghoul
- Egg wash puff pastry
- Fill the eyes and mouth with remaining jam
- Bake in oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown
- Serve with your favorite crackers.
